31DC: Day 10 - Gradient/Digit-al Dozen Blue Week (framed gradient with reverse gradient pinwheel nail art)
OKAY! One third of this challenge complete :) And I want to take a minute to say thank you thank you to my amazing readers. I'm so grateful to have you liking what I do, and I am ever more grateful that so many of you take the time to comment on my posts. <3
This manicure made me get very creative as I wanted it to fill THREE roles!
1. My 31 Day Challenge theme today is - gradient nails.
2. I wanted to enter Chalkboard Nails' nail art contest.
3. My newest challenge "The Digit-al Dozen" created by the lovely Debbie at The Crumpet starts today. This challenge will have me and 11 others doing a Mon-Fri of manicures each month based on a specific theme. This month's theme is blue!!
Sooooo, I came up with this! It was certainly a challenge! And I'm certainly proud of it :D
After my gradient was done I top coated with Seche Vite and let set. Next I cut pieces of tape and placed on nail like so ^
I really love how this turned out! It was my first attempt at anything like this and it was exactly what I had in mind when I envisioned it. My only problem? I had no idea how to name it? What would you call this manicure? Stay tuned for blue polka dots tomorrow :)
Hope you have a great day!
~Victoria

Zoya Tallulah, Breezi and Christinna
I started with one coat of Zoya Christinna. When dry, I sponged on Tallulah, Breezi and Christinna from edge to middle. This was time consuming as I did it around the perimeter of each nail, and had to do it a few times to get the desired coverage. It was also super messy, the dark blue got all over the skin and doesn't clean easily....worth it though. I think this looks really cool! After my gradient was done I top coated with Seche Vite and let set. Next I cut pieces of tape and placed on nail like so ^
I use a makeup sponge and paint directly on it when I sponge.
My final look!!
