my favourite thing about valentines day is that I get flowers and chocolate from my honey. And I love that everything is covered with hearts, roses, pink! it's just amazing. Spread the love everyone!

ReplyDeleteValentine isn't a big thing in the Netherlands but I like to make cards for my husband, parents. sister and two best friends. Sometimes I bake a cake to surprise my husband as I don't bake al lot.

ReplyDeleteValentine's Day sucks in Japan. Women are obligated to buy chocolates for all the men in their office (and women are severely outnumbered in the office, so it's expensive), plus their male family members, boyfriends, etc. In return, on March 14th men are supposed to return the favor and buy candy for women, but most don't bother. =( There is zero romance involved.
I miss being back in Canada, because Valentine's Day there was so nice.
I love Valentine's Day ! It's a special day for me. :)

ReplyDeleteI don't really celebrate Valentine's Day. My mom's birthday is a week after Valentine's Day, so we all celebrate that instead.

ReplyDeleteThe little traditions my husband and I have; which aren't much but they make the day special, just a nice quiet sit down dinner after the kids are in bed, nothing fancy, no gifts, just making an effort for a true date night (without ya know.. actually leaving the house) lol. <3 Oh and -shifty eyes- all the polish that comes out for the day.
