From their description: Being in love can make a girl giddy with happiness and excitement towards her relationship and fill her head with idealistic fantasies. This light pink lacquer is reminiscent of the girlish crushes we all had growing up. Hearts in her eyes is made up of multi-sized black and white glitter including large circle glitter and hearts, as well as satin purple and red accents. This nail polish will be opaque in three even coats
I did indeed use 3 coats here. Went on easily, no formula or application issues. Surprisingly, no fishing for glitter either. This looks so cool on the nail. I didn't expect to like those big old black spots..but it works!! Love this pink base.

From their description: Secret admirers are synonymous with flattery and pleasant surprises; you never know what to expect. My Secret Admirer channels the excitement that admirers bring along. A burst of red, and fuchsia glitters in all shapes and sizes shine through a pale pink base. Three even coats of this nail polish will achieve opacity.
Again 3 coats. So gorgeous this one is, just my style. Easy application, great formula.

From their shop description: Butterflies in our stomachs is something we’ve all felt at some point for a certain special someone; it is a signature of falling head over heels in love. This nail polish is made up of a yellow jelly base with a delicate sprinkling of multi-sized pink and white satin glitters and holographic silver butterflies. Three even coats of You Give Me Butterflies will achieve opacity.
This is the surprise in the bunch for me. I never wanted butterfly glitter. And never expected a bright yellow jelly to be so easy to work with. I am sure I will wear this again. SO full of Spring/Summer feeling. Made me happy wearing it. And the best part? Application was a breeze!!! One of the best jelly formulas ever. This is 3 coats.

From their description: Some relationships are meant to last forever; when it’s real, you’ll just know. Evermore is a bright, shimmery, red jelly nail polish that expresses a vision of everlasting love between two people. Silver, pink, and white glitters accent this polish and create a classic look with some modern sparkle. Evermore will be opaque in three even coats.
Again, 3 easy coats, great jelly formula. Very feminine and wearable.

From their description: Sometimes your love is so strong and powerful that a mere “I Love You” fails to capture the intensity of your feelings. We’ve brought back an old favorite and changed it up to include a purple jelly base with fuchsia, hot pink, and lavender accents, as well as red holographic hearts.  Apply three even coats to reach opacity for Monsta Love 2.0
OK, so this is the only one in the bunch that didn't do well for me. This is 4 coats, and I could still see baldish spots. Also was hoping, after 4 coats and a bunch of fishing, there would be more than 2 pretty hearts on the nail. Even so..you can see that this is very pretty and very wearable. It just wasn't my favorite.

I have a clear favorite from this collection and that is Champagne and Bubble Baths (shown in this post) but ALL the others are runners up for second place except for the last one, apologies to monsta love 2.0 :P

Are you still loving the Indie scene? Did you ever? Will you be getting any of these?

All the best,
Victoria

GlitterDaze Love is in the Air Swatch and Review Part 1

Hello!
Get ready...GlitterDaze has a new collection. It's called Love is in the Air and there are 9 new shades!! I've broken up the posts, I'll show you the 4 glitter toppers in this post and the other 5 in the next post.
The polishes are available at www.GlitterDazeNP.com where customers will get reward points on their purchases when creating an account.
Pricing: $11 full size $6 mini

Champagne and Bubble Baths from their description: "Nothing compares to the feeling of soaking in a warm, fluffy, pink bubble bath sprinkled with rose petals and a glass of sparkly champagne. This polish was inspired by that feeling and is made up of multi-sized pink hexes and hearts, gold bubbles and accents, and red rose petal hexes. Apply this glitter topper over a multitude of shades to achieve a variety of looks! Two coats will give great glitter coverage."
I decided to layer it over 2 coats of Dior Gris Trianon

This one is easily my favorite out of all 9 of the new shades. I have this on for 4 days now. I guess I have to take it off now to keep on swatching...but I don't want to.

Girl Meets Boy from their description: "They say that men are from Mars and women are from Venus; two completely different creatures. This glitter topper proves that although different, two contrasting personalities can come together and create something that works. Bold black and bright blue glitters meet soft and delicate pink and white in this striking glitter topcoat."
Two coats of Dior Rosy Bow for my undies here.
 How sweet is this?

From their description: "When you’re around that special someone, there is an indescribable allure that consumes you with sparks of passion. It is a sultry and spectacular experience and this nail polish evokes such feelings. Electric chemistry is comprised of micro gunmetal and silver holographic glitters as well as medium light pink accents and black hearts. Apply one coat to embellish and accent your manicure or three coats for a super sparkly and opaque glitter polish! Make sure to smooth out this mani with a good, thick topcoat."
Two coats of Dior Calypso. Can you tell I was on a Dior kick when I swatched these. No sense in saving these for a rainy day, they should see the sunlight regularly :D

 Oooh. Sparkley!!

Love Blossoms from their description: "A great way to express your feelings to a loved one is to surprise them with a gorgeous bouquet of fresh flowers, whether they be roses, tulips, or carnations. This glitter topcoat made up of flowers and small pink, fuchsia, and purple glitters will keep the essence of love right at your fingertips!"
 Two coats of Dior Cosmo

All of the top coats are one coat with Seche Vite top coat. They all had a good consistent formula, though I did have to fish for the bigger glitters that like to sink and stick to the sides. Obviously, they are in there. I like to turn the bottle upside down (closed!) for a bit to help them out.

I'm loving all of these! How about you?
Stay tuned for the rest of this awesome collection :)

xo, Victoria
