Dior Vernis Tie Dye Collection Summer 2015 - Top Coat, Sunkissed 239, Sunwashed 319

Ah Summer and DIOR, a combination I'm never disappointed with! Thrilled to show you these sun-drenched shades and how I used Dior Top Coat Tie Dye in two different ways. I am also giving my thoughts on the (Limited Edition red) Creme Abricot Nail Cream and Dior Abricot Top Coat.
I personally love the redesigned brush of Dior Vernis! It's a soft brush, which is flat, but tapered, and rounded at the edge. It's my favorite nail polish brush in fact! It makes polishing a near foolproof experience for me!
The Creme Abricot is a staple in Dior's nail care line, the red was a LE for Valentine's Day (I think) and the white case is always available. I adore it as well. The soft apricot smell makes me happy and it's easy to use, and very moisturizing. It is on the thick and sticky side so it stays put while it soaks in and does its job. I usually apply a small amount of this peach colored creme and rub it in before bed.
From Dior.com:
Dior Sunkissed 239 - a peachy/pink nude. This applied easily, I used 3 coats for full opacity.Dior takes the Tie Dye trend to the tips of the fingers with Top Coat Tie Dye. Its syrupy color and translucent texture opens the door to endless possibilities: worn alone, it enhances the natural color of the nail with an incredibly luminous pomegranate shine that is intensified with each additional coat.Teamed with one of the two Dior Vernis it-shades - the pink-tinged nude of Sunkissed or the soft yellow of Sunwashed - the top coat adds a personal touch of gradation or all-over color.
*I used Dior Diorlisse Abricot Ridge Filler base and Dior Abricot Top Coat for all swatches.
This haphazard nail art is a semi dry brush technique using Sunkissed as the base, Sunwashed and Tie Dye Top Coat added randomly for effect. I liked the way this one looked in person better than in the photos.
Dior Sunwashed 319 - a pale yellow. I used 3 thin coats with no issues in formula or application. Love this soft pretty yellow.
Dior Tie Dye Top Coat - a pink jelly top coat. This one is on the thick and sticky side. Syrupy is a good way to describe it. It's super glossy and works well if you just want to add one or two coats. I did find little bubbles forming when I used three and four coats.
I wanted to show how the shade builds up on the ring finger. The stripe closest to the cuticle is 1 coat. The next stripe is 2 coats, the next is 3 coats and the strip on the tip of the nail is 4 coats.
The nails have 1 coat of Tie Dye Top Coat in the above photo.
Here you see how 2 coats looks.
Yep, you got it, the above photo show 3 coats. I do love the juicy transparency and how it can build and create instant nail art when layered. But I've always been a fan of jelly shades!
