Hello!
Look what a gorgeous collection Chanel has released for Summer 2013. I love these three nail polishes so so much I had to force myself not to buy backups! These were purchased from Chanel.com and arrived super fast. I will start with my favorite.

piCture pOlish Honeydew and Kryptonite Nail Art

Hi all!
It's piCture pOlish day again! As I sat looking at the last two I have for review, I realized, they would look great together, so I combined them in a simple chevron stripe.
piCture pOlish can be purchased from piCturepOlish.com and other retailers in the piCture pOlish network. USA price is $12.50 and it will be available at piCture pOlish on-line for AUD$10.00.

piCture pOlish Honeydew needed 3 coats for full coverage and is a perfect mint creme. Kryptonite worked well for nail art, and was opaque in 2 coats.
What do you think? Do you like these colors together? I love the way a simple addition can totally transform a mani.
Be well!

These swatches are without top coat.
A bottle shot of Kryptonite, because it's that pretty!

Alessandro Peachy Cinderella Swatch and Review with Glitter Flower Nail Art - Digit-al Dozen Bling Week
PR sample
Hey everyone!!Happy Wednesday! Are the days and weeks flying by or is it just me? I'm working hard at catching up with the reviews that I owe. So, you can expect a steady stream of posts from me in the next few weeks :)
Here's one that I owe, and it's a brand new line for me. A new line for all of us (in the U.S.) in fact! Check out their facebook page and shop for one of 99 shades on their website. Also known as the sister brand to Tweezerman, Alessandro is one of the leading luxury nail polish and hand care brands in Europe and they have officially crossed the ocean to launch 99 fabulous shades of nail color (and more) in the USA. If there's a color you are looking for, chances are you will find that Alessandro makes it!
Alessandro Peachy Cinderella is a salmon peach shade. Great formula, you are seeing a full non streaky coverage at 2 coats here.
After the second coat was applied, I used my smallest dotting tool to pick up and place yellow circle glitters previously reviewed from Born Pretty Store, and diamond glitters I picked up from an Etsy shop.
The one above is one shot of this look before top coat went on. I'm trying out some new watermarks with a new program. What do you think?
As far as nail art goes, this is a super pretty, fun look that is relatively easy to accomplish. My only advice is to use 2 coats of top coat as the diamond glitter corners can pop up if not sealed down nicely. I have one coat of Seche Vite here.
I know it's not exceptionally BLINGlike, but they are blingtastic flowers, and I LOVE how they turned out. Based on this one shade, I certainly would recommend Alessandro nail polish. Have you heard of them yet? Do you have any?
Be well, catch you tomorrow!

Essie Sleek Sticks Oh My Gold! Review - Digit-al Dozen Bling Week
PR sample
Hey friends :)Oh boy, this review is SO late it's shameful. No really. Embarrassing. But here's the thing..it's for nail wraps. So....I was afraid. The reason they took so long to review is two fold, number one was I was legitimately trying to clear a block of time that I wouldn't have to swatch so I could review the longevity of how long these would hold up. And the other reason, well...I was afraid that they would be a disaster on my nails like the last time I tried (Jamberry) wraps.
This week begins my Digit-al Dozen challenge week for the month of May and our theme is "BLING". It dawned on me that these absolutely fit the theme, so finally I sat down and applied my Essie Sleek Sticks!
Here's how to find out more info and see all the styles: Essie.com Shop wherever Essie products are sold, $10.25 MSRP. These "pre-cured UV appliqués mimic the feel of a handcrafted nail art and last up to 10 days."
Keep reading for my experience with them.
Jindie Nails Swatches and Reviews
PR sample
Hi everyone!!I've got a busy week of catching up to do! Starting with showing you some of my lovely Jindie Nails that I've swatched but haven't posted yet. You can follow the Jindie facebook page and shop at all of these locations: http://jindienails.com/

I'm starting with my favorite of the bunch! The formula for all of these are great!
This is Jindie Nails Just Claws a gorgeous deep berry holo. This is 2 coats and taken indoors with a daylight bulb. The holo is more pronounced in other lights. I just LOVE this one :)
Jindie Nails Blue Ivy a beautiful royal blue linear holo. Two coats and bam!! So so pretty :)
Jindie Nails I'm a Star Dot Com is so so playful. This is 3 coats with careful application. The formula is good, it's just, with any polish chocked full with this many goodies, you have to apply carefully and use the dabbing method sometimes to get the glitters evened out.
I find the tips of the stars can be problematic if they end up laying on the sides or curved part of nails. Thick top coat is a must. But other than that, this polish makes me happy :D
Jindie Nails Candy Land Remix is another fun fun fun polish. I used three coats and had no problems with application. I love how thin the large neon hexes are, they lay flat around the nail curves so easily.
Jindie Nails Barney Blew Up is a pinkypurple crelly base with a slight shimmer and purple, white and green glitters with white hearts. This is 3 coats. This one gave me the most trouble as far as application from the bunch. It just took more time and patience to get the crelly at full coverage vs glitter overload. In the end though...so worth it!
Jindie Nails Strung Out on Compliments Yellow and blue micro neons glitters with micro black in a clear base. This is one coat over 2 coats of OPI I Theodora You. Very easy to work with and love the look and that you can layer it over different polishes, obviously.
Do you have any Jindies? Which are you faves? I find her polishes incredibly creative and always fun!
Be well!
