The Nail Challenge Collaborative NEON month with Nicole by OPI, OPI and KBShimmer

PR samples
Hi everyone!
The last day in June brings me to The Nail Challenge Collaborative's June theme: NEON. I have chosen to show off the four manicures for this nail group on the last day of each month. Here are the neon creations I made.

First one using KBShimmer Blinded By The Bright, previously reviewed here.
I simply used a black gel pen to draw on the triangles after my top coat dried. This is quite simple, and quite easy to do, yet I found them very striking.

KBShimmer Don't Pink Twice with Grayscale over it. Don't pink Twice is previously reviewed here, and Grayscale from the same KBShimmer Summer Collection makes it's debut on my blog here. It's an awesome glitter top coat (this is one coat) with GRAY glitter. You had me at gray.
Yes, I know...totally took the easy way out with this manicure. In fact, it's not really nail art. But, well, it's pretty :D

My neon flowers, using all of the mini polishes from both Nicole by OPI Notorious Neons, and Scandalous Neons sets. This first photo is without top coat.
I used Nicole by OPI Blue-berry Sweet On You for the center dots on the flowers. I'm not crazy about these, but it was my first try making flowers in this style, with the brush that comes in the bottle. Not so easy as it seems! I did however, like the polishes in this set, even though a few of them (in my opinion) don't fit the term "neon". More bright than neon, I think.

Sugar Spun neon nails with OPI Neon Revolution set. Really had fun wit these and I love the way they turned out. For both mini sets, the white required 2-3 coats to be opaque and still looked a bit streaky in some spots. Top coat helps smooth out the appearance.

Are you a neon lover? I'm not so much, ok..well...not at all. But I can't deny, they sure do pair up well with Summer :) Which is your favorite design?

XO, Victoria

Photojojo iPhone 5 Macro Lens Review

 PR sample
Hi loves! Hope your weekend is off to a good start! I'm showing you a great little product today for picture taking with your iPhone! Perfect for bloggers and polish lovers, this is a super easy to use wide angle and macro lens that retails for only $20 at

These are all bottle shots, taken indoors with the daylight bulb I use for all my photos.

 Darling Diva Holiday

 Naild' It Sugarmess Glum

Glitter Daze Champagne and Bubble Baths
 KBShimmer Bejeweled

Nicole by OPI My Cherry Amour

 Naild' It Lilac Electra

So, what do you think? Something you think you could have fun with? I can't wait to get it outside and snap some nature pics :) The only problem I had (and you can see it in the last photo) is that my view was a little obscured by the magnetic ring that you stick onto your camera or case. I put the magnetic ring on my case, because I didn't want to have to take on and off my case to take macro shots. However, I could usually crop out that spot.

All the best,

NCLA Nail Wrap Review and Nail Art

PR sample
Hi! Hope you are all well!
I've been sent two different NCLA Nail Wraps to try out and review for you. I decided to use one in the conventional way, and the other design I turned into easy nail art. Let me show you :)
This style is called Reflect Yourself. You can purchase a Nail Wrap Kit which includes: Two sheets of 22 wraps (good for 3-4 applications), a NCLA nail file, and easy-to-follow directions for $16 from It qualifies for free shipping with no minimum order too :)
I found these fairly easy to apply and thought they looked good! I have an aversion to nail wraps as I never expect them to go on easy or lay smoothly. These do have some wrinkling at the finger tips, especially my Index finger.

I chose not to top coat this as I was liking the matte look with out top coat. Despite the slight buckling in the wrap, I think they work well enough to pull off a nail art look that I would not be able to accomplish on my own.

I also created a tutorial with the second set I received, called JAZZI that you can find on
What do you think? Do you have nail wrap success stories? I love the idea of cutting out designs, which allows you to get a great pattern but not worry about them having a perfect fit on the nail if you know what I mean.

All the best!

Cellairis iPhone 5 Case Nail Art with Pomegranate Nail Lacquer

PR sample
Hi everyone!!
I have another brilliant collaboration to show you today. Pomegranate Nail Lacquer and Cellairis
have paired up again to sponsor nail art. I love that, think it's such a fun way to show off a cell phone case and nail art Yippee! So, I've been using this newest iPhone 5 Double Take case which you can find here, well over a week now and I can say it's a great case. It's protective without being bulky which is a plus in my book. The Pomegranate Nail lacquer I used in this manicure is Storm the Castle, and it's a perfect match.
Find Cellairis on Facebook, twitter, pinterest and more social links from their website.

Color Club Kaleidoscope and Ruby Wing Summer 2013 Swatch and Review

PR sample
Hello loves!!
Super happy to be showing you my very first Color Club and Ruby Wing polishes today! Can you believe I have never tried this brand before? Shameful, I know, but I am fully hooked now, no turning back. I received 2 out of 6 Color Club shades from the Summer Kaleidoscope Collection and 2 out of 6 of the Summer Ruby Wing Collection as well to review. First of all, let me RAVE about the formula. I was really blown away. Every single one went on like butter, opaque in 1 or 2 coats and very easy to work with. All the swatches shown are 2 coats. Here's where you can shop and find Color Club and Ruby Wing:
Color Club website
Color Club facebook
Color Club twitter
Ruby Wing website
Ruby Wing facebook
Ruby Wing twitter

Color Club Abyss a beautiful vivid green than leans teal. My photos turned out too blue, so I attempted to color correct here. In reality this shade is greener and brighter.

Color Club Bright Night WOW. Bright blue. Really bright blue. I'm in love for sure.

Ruby Wing Groupie Color Changing polish. This one is bright/neon pink, much brighter than it photographed and super pink :)

This is what happens to Groupie when it's in sunlight, or exposed to UV light in my case.

Ruby Wing Summer Love color changing polish. Another super bright shade, this one is less red and more bright orange in reality. My camera had a hard time with these super bright polishes.

Here it is after being exposed to UV light. So super cool. I love these. You can see in the last photo that the UV exposure was wearing off and you have this interesting shading effect.

I feel like I'm the last polishaholic in the world to discover Color Club but I'm so glad I finally have. I can't say enough good about the formula and ease of application for all four of them. Do you already have Color Club/Ruby Wing? Let me know in the comments which are the must haves.

Hope you are having a great weekend!
XO Victoria
