Nail Art Fashion Week 2015 Day 5 - Style Icon - Emmy Rossum Oscar de la Renta

Hi all! Today is Day 5 (one day late!) of our Nail Art Fashion Week! Hope you've been enjoying it so far! For today we could choose between Favorite Fashion Blogger or Style Icon and I knew immediately who I would honor. Emmy Rossum! She is without a doubt my favorite Style Icon. She looks amazing in any style from cute, feminine, rocker grunge to all out elegance. But most of all she rocks elegance out of the park! One quick Google search and you will see her looking fabulous in anything she puts on! A WhoWhatWear gallery proves my point.
Her choice of Oscar de la Renta to the Independent Spirit Awards was what I chose to replicate as I've been trying to challenge myself and improve on my flower skills!

Nail Art Fashion Week 2015 Day 4 - Fashion Trend - Rodarte - Studio 54

Hello!! Moving right along, it's Day 4 - "Fashion Trend" for NAIL ART FASHION WEEK. And I'm reminded of my love/hate relationship with challenges. Haha!! Love that it pushes me to do great work, but hate taking each one off, and creating and posting another the very next day. Not an easy thing! So, before I continue with the trend and designer I chose today, I've wanted to give a shout out to my extremely talented friend, Didoline and her jaw dropping good "Fashion Friday" posts. I''m so inspired by the work she does!

So, while searching for hot fashion trends for this post, I stumbled across Harpar's Bazaar Top Fall Fashion Trends for 2015. Perfect! I chose Studio 54 WHOO! Pile on the glitter baby!
"A return to over-the-top glamour made famous by the swans of the 1970s has made its triumphant return. Sequins, glitter and lamé—plus some new takes on the evening suit—never looked so now."
OK, it's confession time. My little one came home sick with fever and stomach ache yesterday. Was up in pain a lot during the night. I have fever and stomach pain today, while doing these nails. They are not my fave.

Zoya Delight Spring 2015: Eden, Daisy, Tiana, Lillian, Rayne, Leslie Sugar Spun Nail Art

Press sample
Hello and happy weekend!! Where are you in the world? After spending my entire life living through NYC winters, I'm now in the Seattle, Washington area. Lots of grey and rain but it's been sunny and decidedly Spring-like here in the PNW. Since the end of February! I was actually feeling guilty basking in the sunshine without a jacket watching my kids play outside this morning, knowing my family back in NY are still freezing their butts off! Anyway...that bring me to this glorious, sweet and fresh DELIGHTful Spring collection from Zoya.
It's nearly three years (minus a month) from the first sugar spun mani I ever did, (my most stolen image!) also using all Zoya polishes so I felt compelled to recreate a pastel rainbow with this collection. I adore how it turned out!!
Have you done a "sugar spun" mani? I find them fairly easy to do, just time consuming and messy. But I've found short cuts for both of those!

Glam Polish - Cast A Spell Part 3: The White Witch Collection Swatch Review Nail Art

Press sample
Hello! What a stunning collection from Glam Polish today. These are like my dream shades. This is the 3rd installment of the Cast A Spell series called The White Witch Collection and there are 9 shades in total. I have 5 and am tryyyying to be good and not order the others but I really need them!
Nine sparkling pastel holo shades packed full of holographic glitter, in part one and two of our Cast a Spell Collection we explored the world of dark magic, Cast a Spell Part 3: The White Witch Collection is inspired by white magic, the use of supernatural powers or magic for good and selfless purposes.
I knew I had to create some simple nail art designs with these, all of the shades go brilliantly with each other but I went with the color combos that jumped out at me!
