Glitter_Gal_Holiday_In_Oz_True_Blue_Aussie
Glitter Gal True Blue Aussie - a navy crelly. It's no secret that I love blues. It doesn't seem to matter how many I have in my stash, I always need the next release. This one will not disappoint. A very good formula. Mostly a creme but enough of a hint of jelly to give it a gorgeous depth. This is 2 coats, easy formula, high shine without top coat. This is my stand out fave from this collection.

Glitter_Gal_Holiday_In_Oz_True_Bluemerang
Glitter Gal Bluemeranga light blue creme. I needed three coats for this beauty to even out and look good, quite typical for light blues and other shades with this much white in them. I can't lie, as much as the outcome was worth it and I love the shade, I was disappointed. The press release for these made me expect an out of the ordinary formula, and this was just ordinary. I hope that's not too harsh!! I mean, it's a good polish! Nothing wrong with it, but in my opinion not superior. (No top coat here)

Glitter_Gal_Holiday_In_Oz_Big_Smoke
Glitter Gal Big Smoke - a smokey gray. Yes, well named! No problems with this one. Two coats, very good formula. A lovely gray shade. Shown here with Gloss Boss top coat, which as a top coat is AMAZING. Very quick drying, adding a level of gel-like gloss that I almost couldn't stop touching. Highly recommend.

Glitter_Gal_Holiday_In_Oz_White_Pointer
Glitter Gal White Pointer - a true white creme. The biggest disappointment f the bunch for me. I first tried this over an OPI base coat and it was a hot mess. The two polishes did not play nicely together so I had to take it all off and start again. I applied White Pointer on bare nails and needed 4 (FOUR) coats to get full coverage and bald spots covered. There was very little self leveling and left an uneven surface even after it dried. This is not going to be a white I reach for often ever, but I was able to create a nail art look I was happy with that I'll show you in a future post.

Glitter_Gal_Holiday_In_Oz_Redback_Dorothy's_Revenge
Glitter Gal Redback with Dorothy's Revenge on accent nail. A beautiful deep red and bright orange red holo that can be used on its own (2 coats for each polish for this swatch) or as a top coat. Both shades have great formulas, and easy to work with. Redback has a similar formula to True Blue Aussie with enough of a jelly finish added to the creme base to make it a tiny bit squishy. Love it. Above and below photos show without top coat. You can see that Dorothy's Revenge dried down to a non glossy finish while Redback has that high shine.

These last two photos (above and below) have Gloss Boss top coat. Swoon. Can't get any glossier! Hard to show just how glossy it is through the pictures.

Glitter_Gal_Hot_Chilli_Gloss_Boss_Seche_Vite
Ok, here I'm showing how Gloss Boss worked for me, over  Glitter Gal Hot Chilli. Nail on far right is Hot Chilli on its own. Nail in the middle has Gloss Boss top coat and nail on left has Seche Vite top coat. As you can see, my experience with Gloss Boss as a top coat for a holographic is disappointing. It created the same dulled out non holo finish as Seche Vite.

Hot Chilli topped with Glitter Gal Gloss Boss on the left.  Hot Chilli on right, no top coat.

I've been gravitating towards clean simple cremes lately. You too? Are you loving any of these?
I'll be showing you three different nail art designs I created with these coming up soon :)

All the best,
Victoria
