The Lacquer Cabinet by Nailtini: February Valentines Tweed Freehand Heart Nail Art
press sample
I wanted to come up with something unique for Valentines this year. And I have fun news to share. So, I combined the two :) You've heard of Nailtini? The polish line from Tini Beauty encourages you to layer and mix polishes like a cocktail. They also make nail care and other beauty products. They have just launched a new subscription box called The Lacquer Cabinet. "Stocking monthly limited-edition lacquer collections curated by top nail
and beauty experts, plus two empty mini bottles for you to try your own
hand at lacquer mixology." I've got the premier box mixed by Faith Roxas of loveroxie.com to show you and each box after that. And yup...I'm one of the "guest mixologists" and I can't wait to show you what I've mixed up for my month! In the meantime check out the lacquer-cabinet to see what's in store!
Nailtini Head over Heels, Pink Clover Club,Valentini Zoya Chantal, Jacqueline, Flynn
The February Lacquer Cabinet by Love, Roxie:
Head over Heels – sassy fuchsia jelly brimming with multi-colored, multi-shaped glitter
Pink Clover Club – flirty, creamy petal pink with a hint of heat
Valentini – sophisticated, plum-kissed berry cream
I was going for a tweed look here, with a feminine touch. Each of the Nailtini shades had a great formula for what I was doing and I had no trouble using them. A few photos glossy with KBShimmer Clearly on Top top coat, and then you will see it matte. I do like it both ways but prefer the matte.
I used the saran wrap method with all three of the Zoyas for the base, then used the nail art brush on the far left from this set from winstoniastore.com to paint in the stripes and the glitter heart. The brush worked well and I'm very happy with the quality of it.
I used Rescue Beauty Lounge Matte Top Coat which worked quickly and perfectly. Love this matte!
This was time consuming to do, but not as bad as you might think. Curious, would you be interested in me creating a tutorial for this?
The February Lacquer Cabinet is available now at tinibeauty.com
$25 per month, $23 per month for a 6-month subscription, and $20 per
month for a 12-month subscription. Other perks include free shipping and
up to 15% discount on all Tini Beauty products for the duration of your
subscription.
The Winstonia Nail Art Brush set can be purchased at winstoniastore.com for $6.95
All the best,
