Dance Legend Candy Flakes Swatch and Review
Hope you had a great weekend, ours is winding down! Big big things happening over here as we slowly start to prepare our house to sell in preparation for a move clear across the country. EEK.
I'll be doing my best to keep up with blog work, and right now I have my second of many Dance Legend reviews for you. I've already reviewed 4 from the Mist Way collection and today I have 4 out of the 6 Candy Flakes collection. These are all three coats and all have an excellent formula. At the end of the post I show you each one layered over an opaque shade.
|Dance Legend Candy Flakes: Sun Still Sleeps, Final Fantasy, Lollypop, Sweetest Thing|
Dance Legend Final Fantasy
Super beautiful shade with shifting blue/green flakes in a purple jelly with red micro glitters.
Dance Legend Lollypop
I know you can see a hint of nail line even though I have 3 coats on here..but I honestly couldn't stop staring at these. The flakes look much better in real life than I could capture in the photos, flashing hot pink/orange all in a hot pink bright jelly base.
Dance Legend Sun Still Sleeps
What a beautiful shade! These flakes have such a range! Flashing anything from blue, green, yellow, orange and red. I also love the royal blue jelly base it's in, but yes, you can see visible nail line. This one also looks fantastic layered over a dark base.
Dance Legend Sweetest Thing
Fiery flakies showing a range of yellow/orange in a bright deep reddish orange jelly base, which is opaque in 3 coats. An amazing Summer shade!
And finally, I wanted to show you these awesome shades, layered over an opaque undie. From pinky (left) to Index (right): One coat DL Sweetest Thing over 2 coats Dior Milly 237 (a melon orange shade), One coat DL Lollypop over 2 coats Dior Bonheur 661 (a bright hot pink), One coat DL Sun Still Sleeps over 2 coats Nicole by OPI This Blue is so You (a navy creme), One coat DL Final Fantasy over 2 coats Nicole by OPI This Blue is so You (a navy creme).
Are you a flake fan? I am not really, and have very few of them...after trying these...I'm not sure why I don't have more!
