Live Love Polish: UNT Sand Castle Swatch Watermarble Nail Art
Hello! I have a beautiful glitter shade by a new to me brand, UNT, based in Asia. At this time Live Love Polish is the only stockist in the U.S. to carry UNT, and yes, they ship internationally! I have this watermarbled glitter goodness on my nails right now and believe me I don't want to take it off!
UNT Sand Castle is a delicate mix of different size pink hex glitter, small white glitter and silver micro glitters.
First, I'd like to mention how much I like these bottles. Unique and elegant. The brush is of the wider variety and the polish applied easily.
I have on three coats here and you can see that it is either a texture polish or it dries down super gritty. It's perfectly wearable without top coat, but with, it's stunning.
I decided to turn this shade into a quick and pretty water marble. I love how this looks with the glitter showing through. It's easy to do, simply water marble with a clear (non quick dry) top coat and white. I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and OPI Top Coat.
Just wanted to give you a behind the scenes look! I used OPI Glitter Off painted around the nail for easy post water marble clean up. So here's a look how it looked after water marble, and the Index mostly cleaned up.
The above photo shows you how easily the polish mess just peels off with the Glitter Off underneath! Cool, right?
UNT Sand Castle is available at livelovepolish.com for $8.00

Sand Castle is stunning, and totally looks like actual sand. It's totally not my style (texture, that colour, we don't get along), but I love it anyway. I've got to try water marbling one of these days, seriously.ReplyDelete
This mani is so elegant and stunning! Fantastic! <3ReplyDelete
Aw thank you!! I'm having a hard time, I need to take it off to keep swatching but I don't wanna!! :PReplyDelete
It surprised me actually, like it more than I thought I would! Thank you :)ReplyDelete
Don't you hate when that happens! :PReplyDelete
Love this! Great way to use the glitter with marbling. I always wondered about clean-up - Glitter Off! Excellent and I HAVE IT!! Maybe after the holidays I'll get brave and try one!ReplyDelete
This is gorgeous! I really like the clear/white water-marble effect over a glitter base. It's interesting seeing your 'behind the scenes' shots also.ReplyDelete
Using Glitter Off for clean-up for a wonderful idea! I'm going to try it out! Very pretty mani.ReplyDelete
This is such a beautiful effect! It feels very wintery to me - I would have never thought to pair a textured polish like Sand Castle with a water marble!ReplyDelete

Oh wow, this polish was stunning on its own but I love it with your marbling!ReplyDelete
Stunning... the colour reminds me enough of Teenage Dream that it immediately makes me fall in love. The water-marble is also awesome!ReplyDelete
Beautiful marble! It's good to know that OPI Top Coat works well for this technique...my fast dry top coats have always been a nightmare to marble with!ReplyDelete
That water marble is incredible, love the delicacy and the clear parts. I recently tried UNT and I like their polishes. Can't wait to try more. :)ReplyDelete
