Zoya Matte Velvet Swatch Christmas Nail Art
Press sample
Happy and Merry wishes to everyone who celebrated today Christmas day! I didn't have much time for nails this week so I created this fast, Christmas themed nail art with the stunning Zoya Matte Velvet collection! I can't even believe it took me this long to try these, they are amazing!!
The base for this look is an easy gradient with Zoya Loredana on the cuticle side and Zoya Dovima on the free edge side. These blend so easily into each other the gradient was a subtle one but still visible!
Loredana
by Zoya can be best described as a medium gunmetal grey, packed with
silvery shimmer and a velvety MATTEVELVET finish. This shade gives the
nails the appearance of brushed steel.
Dovima
by Zoya can be best described as a smoky charcoal-black with strong
silver shimmer and a velvety MATTEVELVET finish. This shine-free black
is the must have shade for fall!
My ornaments were easy to make, I painted 3 coats (letting each coat dry down before adding the next) in sections on wax paper. Once dry (about an hour later) I gently peeled off the layer of polish and used two different size hole punchers to pop out perfect circles :D Here's a look with top coat.
I hand painted the tree and its outline is A England Fotheringhay Castle, the ornament strings are A England Encore Margot.
Index: Savita
by Zoya can be best described as a bold, vibrant medium purple with
strong red and gold shimmer with a velvet MATTEVELVET finish. A new take
on the matte trend for fall/winter with a pop of bold color.
Middle: Posh
by Zoya can be best described as a medium cool-toned wine red with
metallic red shimmer and a velvety MATTEVELVET finish. Impossibly sexy
and glamorous, this matte red truly lives up to its name.
Ring: Veruschka can be best described as a deep evergreen garnished with
strong metallic shimmer in a velvety MATTEVELVET finish. One of this
season's hottest colors in a trendy, matte finish!
Pinky: Harlow by Zoya can be best described as a rich, saturated rose
plum packed with sparkling metallic shimmer in a velvety MATTEVELVET
finish. A perfect choice for fall or winter that combines rich color
with a lush matte finish.
I love this entire collection, and as stunning as they are glossy, I prefer them matte! Looking forward to seeing if 2015 brings more matte velvet shades from Zoya!

All the best,
Victoria
