KBShimmer Summer 2015 Collection Part 1 - Sun Bleached Neon Decal Nail Art

I've been dying to show you this one! The release date for KBShimmer's HUGE Summer collection is approaching (5/15/15) so it's time to share with you the looks I created with them! I used all 9 of the shades of Part 1 - Sun Bleached Neons!!

 If you've been a long time reader, you know that I love creating (simple) nail art looks incorporating the shades of a collection and sometimes it's a challenge to come up with a design that shows off the individual shades. I think this one does that well!

I started this look with one coat of DUST IN THE BOTTLE: A sparkly holographic dust top coat. Then I painted out swatches of each sun bleached shade.

 Here's what my swatches looked like. This is three coats of each, on wax paper. They dry fairly quickly so I was able to lift each off the wax paper and cut my shapes within an hour or so.

From left to right:

SARONG PLACE, SARONG TIME: A vibrant purple cream, LEI IT AGAIN: An electric pink cream,
LEGGO MY MANGO: A creamsicle orange cream, BAHAMA DRAMA: A near neon deep peach cream,
IN YACHT WATER: A Caribbean blue cream with aqua leanings, FOR SAIL BY OWNER: A juicy lime cream, RUM ME THE RIGHT WAY: A shocking yellow cream

 I applied another coat of DUST IN THE BOTTLE and while it was still wet/damp I placed my shapes on the nails! Super easy!

 To finish the look I applied one coat of

PRECIOUS PETALS: A glitter top coat in neon pink, purple, white, and aqua with a fine holographic dust

 Love this fun look! I felt ready for a summer garden party wearing these!
