KBShimmer Winter 2012 Collection, Part 3 - Swatch and Review
Happy Sunday to all my polish lovers!!
I'm showing you the last of three posts for KBShimmer's Winter Collection. There are 9 beauties in this collection. The first post showed the two blues from the collection. Second post focused on the three top coats. This one will show you the remaining 4 polishes.

Some important info before you shop: "Due to price increases with a few of my suppliers, polishes will be $8.75 per bottle starting 11/15. This collection includes a polish for charity, Wrappers Delight that will sell for $10.00. Please note that all polishes in the holiday collection will include a new, flat style brush."
Cocoa Nut - From their description: "A chocolate brown polish loaded with berry colored glitters in several shades of pink. Micro gold adds a hint of shimmer and shine." Good lord I love this one!! My favorite of this post for sure. Easy to apply, I have 2 coats on here and HK Girl topcoat.
Sugar Plum Faerie - From their description: "A soft plum violet jelly with berry colored holographic glitters in different sizes, a scattering on purple glitters along with lime holo glitters." This one is super unique! I wasn't sure if I was going to like this one...but once it was on, it was a total win. Another perfect formula, easy to apply, this is 2 coats with HK Girl topcoat.
Berry Christmas - From their description: "A cranberry red polish loaded with micro red glitters in several shades. Berry pink glitters and purple glitters offer depth and sparkle, and a hint of gold tops it off. This polish sparkles so much in person!" Oh yeah!! This one is better in person. It really is a show stopper. Very juicy looking! Easy application again, 2 coats and HK Girl top coat.
The photo above is showing you the 2 coats without top coat. It's the uh, gravel look...which I'm hearing is becoming a trend. What do you think? Would you wear it this way??
This one is top coat hungry..even as I was taking the pics..I could see my top coat getting eaten :P
All Decked Out - From their description: "A Forest Green Christmas Tree inspired base loaded with a mix of colored hexes in various sizes, gold holo hexes and a scattering of gold holo stars, as we know all Christmas trees need to be topped with a star!" Yes, this is super Christmas-y! Love the squishy pine green and those gold stars!! The formula on this was a bit thicker, but no real problems with application. I did have to fish for my stars, wish there were a few more floating around in there cause they are so amazing :D
OKAY!! So, which is your favorite from this post? From the whole collection? Hope you are able to pick some up when they go on sale November 15, 2012.
XO, Victoria

ReplyDeleteI really hope I'll manage to buy some of these polishes, I love all of them!
ReplyDeleteOooooh my! I love these beauties!!!! Especially the three first ones. Yum!
ReplyDeleteCocoa Nut and All Decked Out are my fav :)
ReplyDeleteSo hard to pick a favorite! Probably All Decked Out!
ReplyDeleteI don't know where to start! This collection gets 2 thumbs up from me! I think I like Snow way, Berry Christmas, candy Cane Crush and Hex appeal, but all of these are lovely!!
ReplyDeleteHow am I supposed to decide which one I like best?????? I wish I owned this whole collection. I'm drooling.
ReplyDeleteI like the purple one here and the light blue and white one also...I am trying to tell which ones are raised up high (gritty) from the nail as I tend not to like ones that have too much elevation off the nail I can tell from the photos for the berry red one that is not going to be one I would like because of that lift/rough finish. I love looking at the KB's but often found I don't wear them once I get them because of the texture many of them have - but I really like the stuff in them and so many don't need a base coordinating coat which is pretty amazing.
ReplyDeleteThey all look so pretty~!!
ReplyDeleteMy absolute favorite from the collection and will probably become my favorite of the moment when I get my hands on it, is Cocoa Nut...so incredibly beautiful in pictures, so I'm sure I'll be blown away when I see it in person. My second favorite is Snow Way and I will also be seeing that one in person! :P
ReplyDeleteBerry Christmas is AWE. SOME. I gotta have it.
ReplyDeleteThe Sugar Plum Faerie is gorrrrrgeous!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is Cocoa Nut, gorgeous! :-)
