Digit-al Dozen Fashion Week - Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 Freehand Flower Nail Art
Hello loves!
Here's my 4th design for Digit-Dozen fashion week, it's only one day late ;) I knew the moment I saw this dress (I don't remember where I originally saw it) that I wanted to do these nails! I'm very happy with how they turned out! Let's look :D
Read on to see how I accomplished this design...
Here's a shot before the top coat went on. I have grown to like this look as well, gives it a very artsy, "painted" feel. I started this mani with 3 coats of Zoya Purity. Once dry I used a small nail art brush and painted on the first layer of flowers with Zoya Carmen. I let this set and then top coated with Seche Vite.
Next step, a coat of Essie Marshmallow to create the layers of the dress. Once that was dry, I painted on a second layers of flowers with Zoya Carmen and top coated with Seche Vite once again.
I love loved having these on my nails and didn't want to take them off!! Feminine and bold at the same time. Wish I owned to dress to go along with it!!
Be well!
~Victoria
