Hello all! Happy Friday! My lovely fb nail group Paint All The Nails (PATN) put up our monthly nail art theme yesterday! I am a day late but better late than never. Here's what I created using 5 of the new shades from OPI New Orleans Spring 2016 Collection.
I began this manicure by laying down OPI Let Me Bayou a Drink with swatches of OPI Take a Right on Bourbon. Both beautiful in their own right! Let Me Bayou a Drink has a somewhat thin formula and I needed 3 coats for opacity, but I wasn't too concerned with that for this mani as I knew I'd be marbling over it.
I used OPI I Manicure For Beads, She's a Bad Muffuletta! and Spare Me a French Quarter? for the marble. I also used OPI Start to Finish (clear base/top coat) for some of the nails to invoke a more marbled look.
I'm a fan of how this turned out! Although I did get some bubbling from the watermarble, which bugs me, you could barely see it in reality.
Please stop by the link up and see what the other talented ladies created!! xoxo
