Powder Perfect Insomnia - January Trio Nail Art
Press sample
Hello!
Hope you're having a lovely weekend! I'm so happy to show you this trio, named by the fans in the Powder Perfect Coterie - the Facebook fan group. I was thrilled to be asked to blog for this brand, it's my first experience with Powder Perfect!
Powder Perfect - I Can’t Sleep is a brilliant orchid purple crème polish
Recommended Application; 2-3 thin coats, followed by a topcoat.
I started with this stunning shade and wore it for a few days before I added the two other colors. I got SO many compliments! The application in 2 coats was flawless. This shade is so striking, even the photos don't do it justice!
Powder Perfect - Late At Night is a lush emerald microshimmer lacquer.
Recommended Application; 2-3 thin coats, followed by a topcoat.
I used nail vinyls to help me get clean lines when I added this elongated triangle. The formula was a bit thicker than the previous shade, but not in a bad way. I used two coats here, and the application was effortless. This polish goes exactly where you put it.
Powder Perfect - Thinking of You is a sunrise pink holographic polish with a magenta shimmer throughout. Recommended Application; 2-3 thin coats.
I free handed the pink stripe one one side, with no issues in formula or application.

"Lying in your bed in the middle of the night, you are wide awake. You try desperately to sleep, but you can't help thinking of someone special, someone who is close, but at the same time, so very far away."I decided from the start to create a nail art look using all three of these, that would be simple, and try to show the loveliness of each shade at the same time.

I loved how this turned out and liked the randomness of this trio paired together! But I must confess, for me the must have here is the orchid creme I Can't Sleep. Days later my dad even remarked about it, that it was a really stunning polish that I wore the other day! How cool is that?
