Zoya Darcy Swatch and Review with Diamond Glitter for Digit-al Dozen Bling Week
PR sample
Hi all!I've got my Day 4 of Bling! for the Digit-al Dozen's May challenge. I decided to go with loose glitter and as you can see, layered it on top of the ever so bright and sunny Zoya Darcy from the Summer 2013 Stunning Collection, available now for $8 at zoya.com..let's take a look :)
I needed 3 coats for full coverage and the application just required a bit of patience. Thin coats, and allow each to dry a bit so you won't experience drag or pulling when the next coat goes on.
There's something about yellow, that just makes me happy. It must be that whole sunshine thing :D
I applied the teal and light blue glitters (and pink bars) one by one, using the end of a dotting tool to pick them up. It was not exactly easy. But I think it was worth it in the end.
I feel like this is a unique look, and love the color combos here. Not sure how incredibly "blingy" it is, but hey! DIAMOND glitter! That's got bling built in, right?
This post is a day late, oops!! So look for Day 5 coming up later today :)
Be well,
Victoria

What a gorgeous way to achieve a 3D effect!! The loose glitter is not exactly 3D, but the way you made them into a pattern makes for such a cool visual effect! :D
ReplyDeleteAnd those thin ones - I so envy your patience haha
Way to go, this is outstanding! And yes, blingy enough, in my opinion anyway ;)
