Digit-al Dozen September Spectacular Geek Nail Art with Nicole by OPI

Another Digit-al Dozen challenge today. Going back in time, we did this theme in March 2013. I had trouble with it then (coming up with ideas) and this time I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Being a former chemistry teacher..I wanted to create elements for this thing we are doing (nail art) that I love. I'm also addicted to Br Ba (Breaking Bad) so that also helped me come up with this idea. Let's see!
So I added some chemistry, using black acrylic paint. Can you recognize the elements? Na = nail P = polish and Ar = art. I was definitely not in the mood to be doing my nails when I was working on these. I had just dropped off my boys for their first day of pre-k. It was pretty awful!! They clung to me and begged me not to leave for 20 min. Then all the parents had to go and my boys were hysterical. They had to be pulled off me. Hoping tomorrow goes a little easier.

So cute! And sorry about your little guys :( That's tough! Mine were the opposite--barely even said good-bye, but I was the crazy parent hanging just out of sight in the hallway stalking my 1st child on his first days of pre-k (and kindergarten lol) ;) It'll get better! Good luck tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteMost would say chemistry was a Geek area...but I made a really good living being a clinical scientist and boy did I have to take a boat load of chemistry to get there and found I really enjoyed it - now physics? Not so much!
