OPI Brazil Textures Rainbow Nail Art

Hello! OK, you all know I love texture polishes so these shades included in the OPI Brazil collection were a treat. The only problem? They are minis :( I wanted to show off each shade while creating a fun nail design...take a look!

OPI Brazil Samba-dy Loves Purple, I'm Brazil Nuts Over You, What's a Little Rain Forest?, You're So Flippy Floppy

The finished design! I created this using only the 4 shades included in this set. You'll see I used tape for the first step and freehanded the custom blended shades for the final step.

Thought you might like to see the process...I used striping tape to tape off the diagonal sections and painted in using I'm Brazil Nuts Over You.

For each new color I repeated the process, so I had tape to guide the bottom line and just used a careful hand to create the straight line where the (red) I'm Brazil Nuts Over You met the second shade (yellow) You're So Flippy Floppy. The one advantage of mini bottles? The brushes are smaller and good for painting small nail art spaces :D

The first step completed with the four shades. Definitely liked this, but like the end rainbow look better!

Rainbows! I custom mixed a few drops of the red and yellow to make the orange, yellow and blue to make green and of course the blue and purple to make the indigo. I just freehanded the extra shades. Usually I'm a tape (clean lines) fanatic, but I really love how these turned out!

I wore these for days and got a lot of compliments. Do rainbows make you feel happy too?
