Nail Art Fashion Week 2015 Day 5 - Style Icon - Emmy Rossum Oscar de la Renta

Hi all! Today is Day 5 (one day late!) of our Nail Art Fashion Week! Hope you've been enjoying it so far! For today we could choose between Favorite Fashion Blogger or Style Icon and I knew immediately who I would honor. Emmy Rossum! She is without a doubt my favorite Style Icon. She looks amazing in any style from cute, feminine, rocker grunge to all out elegance. But most of all she rocks elegance out of the park! One quick Google search and you will see her looking fabulous in anything she puts on! A WhoWhatWear gallery proves my point.
Her choice of Oscar de la Renta to the Independent Spirit Awards was what I chose to replicate as I've been trying to challenge myself and improve on my flower skills!

 Ok, so I've not been feeling well, and it took me two days to get this done but I'm so glad I stuck it through. I'm pretty happy with these!

 I started with one coat of Essie Marshmallow, then layered a second and third coat to get the sheer criss cross effect of the dress. I love how that part looked!

 All the other shades used are China Glaze: All Aboard (pictured), If In Doubt, Surf It Out, Igniting Love, I Sea The Point, One Track Mind, X-Ta-Sea, Don't Get Derailed, Tree Hugger, Sun Upon My Skin, Shore Enuff, Hang-Ten Toes, You Drive Me Coconuts Some shades mixed to make custom colors.

My photos aren't the crispest here, (I know I probably shouldn't point that out!) but as I've said, wasn't feeling well and didn't have the energy to take more :/

 These look so pretty in real life! Even my nearly 6 yr old boys were impressed!

    Very pretty! Boy I sure hope these designer don't steal your photos because they are so pretty! It seems like your watermarks should be right underneath the actual nail designs.

    Well done on those flowers, sweetie! And the inspiration dress is gor-geous!
    I understand the Emily Rossum thing - I think she is so versatile! She looks good in so many different styles!

    Wow, this is stunning. I liked it when I saw it on FB but seeing close up shots, I love it even more. I love what you've been doing with this challenge, they are some of my favourite designs by you - ever!
