China Glaze Road Trip Spring 2015 Freehand Tulip Nail Art
Press sample
Hello and Happy Spring!! In honor of the first day of Spring being yesterday, I created this freehand tulip flower nail art!! I know every year the first tulip sightings are always a joy to see! You can check out the press release for this collection and see just why I was so excited to receive these. Each one is just perfect! I used all but one for this design - and I included that swatch at the end ;)
I promised myself I'd work on my freehand flowers this year. So here's another go at it!
I started by making a gradient (from cuticle to tip) with China Glaze: License & Registration PLS, Boho Blues, Dashboard Dreamer and Sun's Up Top Down. I think I was feeling impatient though because once I saw it in the photos I realized I should have sponged one or two more times to get full coverage from the light blue (Dashboard Dreamer) shade. Bummer. Hope you didn't notice until I pointed it out. LOL!
I used China Glaze More To Explore, Pack Lightly, Pinking Out The Window, Pop The Trunk and I Brake For Colour for the flowers. And I mixed My Way Or The Highway and Trip Of A Lime Time to get the green. I used China Glaze Matte Magic as well.
China Glaze Wanderlust - powder pink purple shimmer. This is the only one from the Road Trip collection not used in the Tulip design. Isn't it gorgeous? I can't say enough good things about this collection, in fact, I think China Glaze has been hitting it out of the park lately!
Did you get any from this collection yet? Which are your faves? My top two are Wanderlust and Dashboard Dreamer because of the gorgeous shimmers in both, but I honestly love em all!
China Glaze is available at Ulta, Sally Beauty and other beauty supply stores. For more information, visit chinaglaze.com.
All the best,
Victoria

ReplyDeleteThis looks lovely! And I actually still can't see where you mean that the polish didn't cover enough! I love this collection, I was lucky to win half of it from an e-tailer, so I'll be going through those now, and perhaps buying the rest of them later too! :)
