It's a Wonderful Life Nail Art - Let it Snow Challenge

Hey loves!!

This not napping is baloney. My twins have realized playing is more fun than napping. It's cramping my polish habit :P 

I love it when I see a challenge theme and don't even have to think twice about it. This is week 2 of The Nail Challenge Collaborative's "Let it Snow" Challenge and the theme is "Inspired by Holiday Movie/Song/Carol". My all time favorite Holiday movie is "It's a Wonderful Life". I can see it every year, and every year it chokes me up and warms my heart. So here is my nail art rendition :P

 "George lasso's the moon", and "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings."

 From the Skyfall Collection, OPI Live and Let Die, Goldeneye and Moonraker. HITS Speciallita Hematita

 I started with 2 coats of Live and Let Die, then painted on the bells with Goldeneye and the moon with Moonraker (of course). Once those were dry, I added craters to the moon and a swipe in the middle for depth with the Hematita. When these were dry, I added rope and details on the moon and bells with Sally Hansen nail art pens. Hoorah!!

 Two easy coats of OPI Live and Let Die. Thick-ish formula but in a good way. Deep forest green with gold and green glass fleck shimmer. Very pretty.

I LOOVE my little moon man getting lassoed by George Bailey :) What do you think, does it make you think of the movie?
