Snowflakes Nail Art with Born Pretty Stamp - Let it Snow Challenge
Hey guys!
Yup, I've done it again. Joined another challenge :) I'm happy to be participating with many of the ladies from my very first challenge which was "April Showers Bring May Flowers". We then moved on to "The Lazy Days of Summer". Obviously, "Fall into Autumn" was next, which I skipped so I could do the 31-Day Challenge. Well, the season has changed once again. We have named our little group "The Nail Challenge Collaborative" and are starting "Let it Snow". WOOHOO. I'm happy to say that so many of the ladies in this original group are still here, plus a bunch of new faces. Always great to find new bloggers to follow.
Ok, there's the background. When I get my procrastinator butt in gear, I'll add challenge buttons for each one, with a link to all the challenges. Moving forward though, all challenges will be tagged with which group and which challenge they are from so they can be searched easily with the labels feature on the blog.
Now, as for today's snowflake mani. It didn't turn out quite how I envisioned it but I still like it. Let's see, yeah?
This is the Born Pretty plate I used. It has 2 snowflake patterns on it and worked great. I'm getting better at stamping for sure. I just think I needed a bit more contrast in my choice of colors. And perhaps What's with the Cattitude isn't the best polish for stamping either :P And don't forget..if you'd like to purchase from Born Pretty Store, use my code (DS7X31) for 10% off!!
I was definitely going for a soft, snow is falling, quiet kind of look. Three coats of Smitten, then China Glaze fast dry topcoat. After that I sponged on some OPI MBSW on the tips and stamped on snowflakes from the Born Pretty plate with the 2 OPI's. I know, the blue is super hard to see...
Have a great weekend!

Please take a look at what the others in this group did for their snowflakes!

I used 3 coats of the AMAZING Snow Day that I won in a contest from the sweet and generous Thea from Munchy's Nails I Adore Smitten Polish and white polish/glitters. I was ecstatic when I found out I won! It's a very delicate white jelly base with multi size white glitters and multi size iridescent glitters. Swoon. It would do well layered over a soft white.
A Smitten sandwich!! OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, Smitten Polish Snow Day, OPI What's with the CattitudeI was definitely going for a soft, snow is falling, quiet kind of look. Here's what you can look forward to :) Posting will be once a week (hopefully)
