Dotted Flower Nail Art with Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez Collection Swatch and Review

Hello lovelies!

My last post showing you polishes from Nicole by OPI's Selena Gomez collection. There are 14 in this set inspired by the actress and singer Selena Gomez. I showed you the rest of these in separate posts. I posted a New Year's Eve look with a different 4 polishes from the collection. See it here. And a glitter color block, see it here. My colorful french tip can be seen here. And finally this one..which turned out to be my favorite look from these swatches.

Nicole by OPI Scarlett, Hit the Lights, Selena
This is 2 coats of Selena. I never thought I was a peach girl!! Pink and red? Yes! Peach...ewww. And this is my favorite. Sigh. I love her!! Can you see the hidden shimmer? This is just so pretty. Perfect application too.

This was really easy to do, my first time making dotted flowers. After Selena was dry, I just added dots with Scarlett in a circle shape. Scarlett is a stunning shimmery red-violet and I love her too!!
Then of course I added the yellow dots in the center with Hit the Lights, a bright happy yellow cream

After using all 14 of the polishes in the collection I can easily say these three are my favorites :) This was such a simple look, and yet looked striking and fun because of the great colors. All of the polishes in this collection have excellent formulas. I have not a single complaint!! Hope you manage to get the ones you like!

  1. I found that Selena for me was very thin and streaky. It's weird how a polish has a great formula for one person and not another. I wonder if it's a batch thing?

  6. I love the petals in the shimmery Scarlett! So when you make dotted flowers you dot the petals first and then the center? I've been doing it wrong all this time! :)
