Rescue Beauty Lounge Cool Tones Nail Art Contest entry
Hi friends!
I sure have been busy lately! How about you? This is my second entry (first one posted this morning) for a competition hosted by one of my favorite blogs, My awesome Beauty. Sophie asked everyone to pick one (or both) from 2 of her designs to re-create. I am doing both, and think this one is definitely my better entry! Check out the competition here: My Awesome Beauty Nail Art Contest
I absolutely love how this turned out! Cross your fingers for me pleeeeease! Of course I am hoping to win!! I want those pastels so much it hurts :P
Glad to have you reading!! :)

Three from the Georgia on my Mind Collection from Rescue Beauty Lounge.
Please note: These bottles are from the pre-order. The names of the
colors have been slightly altered and shortened since the original
pre-order mailing.
Started with base coat and one coat of Rescue Beauty Lounge Abi and let dry. Placed my tape and.....
One coat of Faraway. I also went over the tips of the nails again with Abi on the part of the nail I knew would be showing after the next step.
I actually really like this look, halfsies. All of the colors in the RBL Georgia on my Mind collection go so well together!
The final step. I was super careful when placing these strips. I wanted each nail to be exactly the same! Getting the last shade, "Jack" to the cuticle neatly was the hardest step.
I wanted to find a back ground that would impress my judge ;) I like the first one...but wasn't satisfied.....
Can you believe this dress (yes, that's a dress in the back ground) was just sitting in my closet. Could there be a better match? I chose the polishes and did this mani before I looked for a back ground!
