Abstract Nail Art Challenge - Splatter

 Hi everyone!

Here is my second ever splatter. Besides the cleanup for these (yeah, I haven't been feeling well and I forgot to tape my hand before splattering!) I think I'm gonna be addicted to splatters. Not only are they awesome to look at, they are fun to do and let you combine a bunch of colors :)

I'm working my way through The New Black Runway set and used the following 4 shades:
They don't have names on them so I will just describe from left to right: Orange with slight shimmer, yellow with even slighter shimmer, navy creme, reddish orange with gold shimmer. All are nice colors nothing incredibly original but what makes this set stand out are all these colors in one purchase. You can see my first post for the Runway set here with more info re purchasing. I will have one more post for the green and light blue in the set soon. Application for all of these was unproblematic, opaque with 2 coats except the yellow. A little thick and streaky. I probably won't wear it again. But it did make a lovely base for my splatter!

Have you done a splatter yet? I'm still trying to decide if I like the random bigger blobs that come out on the nail. I kinda wish I Could get it all smaller splatters, but then again, the bigger ones give it character, right :)
