Abstract Nail Art Challenge - Stripes

Hello!  Today's task is stripes, so I bring you stripes. I have also just joined the ranks of a bunch of ladies for "Try it on Tuesday" to get those never been worn polishes out of the bottle and on the nails. This is my first time wearing On the Beach :)

I am definitely liking how this turned out. I applied two coats of Deborah Lippmann Naked, which for me is the perfect nude. Once that was dry I stuck on my striping tapes and one nail at a time applied two coats of On the Beach and pulled off the strips one at a time. Finished with Seche Vite.
 Naked and On the Beach.
I did this pretty late and was tired. Lesson learned..I dinged my nails and left marks 2 times :(
This does actually make me think of being on the beach..

Look for Day 11 from this challenge on Thursday and please check out what the other lovely ladies came up with!

Participants:
Emily from The Lacquerologist
Stephanie from Sincerely Stephanie
Jessica from Beautygnome
and me :)

So glad to have you reading!

  6. LOVE IT. In your opinion what is the best way to use the striping tape off without getting polish all over when removing the tape?

  12. These are really neat! I love the outside the box thinking. I'd just do stripes, but I love how each nail gets more. Very (visually) stimulating! =)
