Lazy Days of Summer - Ombre

Hi polish lovers! I wanted to try out something different for today's Summer ombre challenge and fulfill "Try it out Tuesday" by using polishes I haven't tried yet...well..I think it looks cool, but not exactly how I planned it in my head :/

Polishes from thumb to pinky: A England Camelot, Essie Little Brown Dress, Zoya Richelle, China Glaze Fast Track, OPI Number One Nemesis
 Loose glitter from Michael's
I definitely chose the wrong color for the pinky, and I placed the glitters so that it was more concentrated at the cuticle for the thumb and Index and trickling down to the tip, evenly spaced for the middle finger and the opposite (concentrated at the tip and trickling down towards the cuticle) but that didn't come across in the pics. Also, the black glitters on the black polish didn't show up very well.

I was going for a daybreak to nighttime summer ombre, I think I missed the mark for the theme, but still looks interesting. What do you think?

Please check out the other ladies in this challenge with me:

Have a great day!!

  8. Really does look interesting, I think the pinky colour looks fine for this mani. I need to add to my nail supplies and get some of those glitters too.

  9. This looks beautiful! I think the pinky looks good; the glitters helps the transition. It's a very nice twist on the ombre manicure!

  12. I wish I could create something like this. I probably lack the coordination and patience to do the glitters though.

  14. That Fast Track one is really gorgeous! I'd do a whole manicure with just that, but I love your ombre and the way you pulled all the colors together with the glitter colors. Lovely.
