Digit-al Dozen's Halloween Week (Beaded nail art)
Hi everyone! I'm happy to announce that I am adding Bloglovin as one of the ways to follow me. I'm still figuring it out, so let me know if anything isn't working please :)

OK, now onto today's Halloween inspired look. There are no colors like orange and black to conjure up the feeling of Halloween, so I made an orange and black beaded manicure for today! I love how textured this looks. I never thought I'd like beaded nails until I tried it. The only problem? My kids are obsessed with the beads and want to pick them off :P
I used Zoya Lianne. One coat, let dry...then second coat thumb nail and dip into little container where I have premixed half black and half orange beads. Yes, I measured the the black and orange beads. I'm a dork like that. I wanted them equally represented :P Then of course, repeat second coat and dip for each nail.
I like it. It certainly feels very Halloweeny! Not very practical, but certainly good for a costume party or such :)) Do you like the beaded nails?
Be well!

Very Halloweeny!! I'd love if the beads would glow in the dark :-)
ReplyDeleteOH YEAH!! That would be fun :)
DeleteI LOVE this kind of manicure in Halloween colors! For some reason the color combo and the manicure style seem to go together really well to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks!! Makes me want to eat it for some reason ;)
DeleteHalloween AND Martha Stewart!? Lol...I love this!
ReplyDeleteLOL. Thanks :D
DeleteI'm on the fence about this. Looks cool on you but I don't think I would try it. Must be hard to get off!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you. It's a quite different look and feel! It's actually easier to get off than glitter though!!
DeleteWow pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kerrie!
Deleteyou are so creative!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jill :D
DeleteWow what a statement! So fun.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteI love this!!! It's so unique and perfect for Halloween :]
ReplyDeleteVery very cool! Love!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kirsten!
DeleteVery Halloweeny! I'm a little confused though because Ive been following you on bloglovin for about 6 months now...
ReplyDeleteHi Joanna. I guess you can always follow a blog if YOU have bloglovin, so when I made an account and added the button to my page it showed me I already had 90+ followers on bloglovin :D
Deletehow long did you keep the beads on? did they feel cumbersome or awkward?
ReplyDeleteHi Angelica. This one, I just kept on until my kids saw it. LOL They LOVE to pick the beads off. I had to change it for the next day's challenge anyway :P They feel weird, but not that weird. The worst part...you WILL lose a bead or many just doing normal stuff..depending on how well they have sunk into the polish and dried. Hope that helps.
DeleteGreat look, I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteI still need to try this. I have a few jars of micro marbles sitting around. I should get to it!
Thanks! Good luck :)
DeleteNice! Reminds me of Halloween-colored sprinkles. Almost looks edible :)
ReplyDeleteYes, makes me want to eat candy!
DeleteThis is great! I love using beads on my nails ( I use the same ones from Recollections), but it is definitely a "24 hour" mani!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yup...not long term for sure.
DeleteThis is very cool!!! Bead manis make me want to pick, so I could only wear it for one night... but I may have to do it!!! :D
ReplyDeleteThey are certainly interesting and certainly a one night mani, so go for it! :)
Deletelove it - i wish i'd thought of this !!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie!! I have that thought aaaall the time :P
DeleteThanks! It's really easy, go for it!
ReplyDeleteI still haven't found the beads to try this but this looks so awesome on you, definitely Halloween worthy :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd spend all day picking the beads off though.
