Digit-al Dozen's Halloween Week (Beaded nail art)

Hi everyone! I'm happy to announce that I am adding Bloglovin as one of the ways to follow me. I'm still figuring it out, so let me know if anything isn't working please :)

OK, now onto today's Halloween inspired look. There are no colors like orange and black to conjure up the feeling of Halloween, so I made an orange and black beaded manicure for today! I love how textured this looks. I never thought I'd like beaded nails until I tried it. The only problem? My kids are obsessed with the beads and want to pick them off :P

I used Zoya Lianne. One coat, let dry...then second coat thumb nail and dip into little container where I have premixed half black and half orange beads. Yes, I measured the the black and orange beads. I'm a dork like that. I wanted them equally represented :P Then of course, repeat second coat and dip for each nail.

I like it. It certainly feels very Halloweeny! Not very practical, but certainly good for a costume party or such :)) Do you like the beaded nails?

Be well!
~Victoria

  2. I LOVE this kind of manicure in Halloween colors! For some reason the color combo and the manicure style seem to go together really well to me.

    1. I don't blame you. It's a quite different look and feel! It's actually easier to get off than glitter though!!

    1. Hi Angelica. This one, I just kept on until my kids saw it. LOL They LOVE to pick the beads off. I had to change it for the next day's challenge anyway :P They feel weird, but not that weird. The worst part...you WILL lose a bead or many just doing normal stuff..depending on how well they have sunk into the polish and dried. Hope that helps.

I still need to try this. I have a few jars of micro marbles sitting around. I should get to it!

  11. This is great! I love using beads on my nails ( I use the same ones from Recollections), but it is definitely a "24 hour" mani!

  12. This is very cool!!! Bead manis make me want to pick, so I could only wear it for one night... but I may have to do it!!! :D
