31DC: Day 14 - Flowers/Digit-al Dozen Blue Week (Le Fleur nail art)
Closing in on the halfway mark! Day 14 brings us flowers :) I've done this type of flower mani once before. Check it out here. I wanted this one to have a different feel to it, even though it is the same technique to create it. How do you think it compares? Which one do you like better?
I love these. Feels elegant, fun and artsy all at the same time. Stay tuned for delicate print coming up tomorrow :)

I used 2 coats of Rescue Beauty Lounge Bella here. The flowers are Rescue Beauty Lounge Jack and Dead Calm with a touch of Zoya Creamy. Can you believe I forgot to take my bottle shots!! EEK. So, to make up for it, I've included 2 photos of my nails before the yellow centers, and before the top coat. I kind of really like it like this as well. Show texture. Do you like it better before or after top coat?

LOVE! They have this painted porcelain feel coz of the Bella base :)
ReplyDeleteLoving the blue flowers! so beautiful :D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, and I really love that base color!
ReplyDeleteLoooovely <3
ReplyDeleteThose are BEAUTIFUL, at all the different stages! (top coated ones are my fav). And those pink/yellow ones too! These will go into my "hope I can somehow do that on my own nails" folder. :)
ReplyDeleteI like this manicure more than the first one, because the colours that you used last time are not "my" colours and here we have exactly this what I call "my" colours :-) I also like that you put the flowers irregularly, so all your nails are different :-) And, I like it more with the yellow dot and with the top coat :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful manicure! :-)
Did I miss the tutorial you promised for this method? So gorgeous! Great work as always.
ReplyDeleteHi, no, you didn't miss it :P Here's a video that will help you out :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hmw4A4T99Hw

ReplyDeleteI don't know how you do it, but you always have the most amazing manis! I LOVE this, and like it moreso than the first one because the center pops out a bit more. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS! I'm going to have to try this technique out myself!
ReplyDeleteI love the texture on this design! the yellow center really makes the flower pop!
ReplyDeleteWOW this is stunning!
ReplyDeleteThis BEYOND gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing as always xx
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! And reminds me a little bit of impressionist art. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely gorgeous! Soft like a watercolour, but the colour is so bright and bold. Really wonderful job! :D
ReplyDeleteI like this mani! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the way the petals haven't gone completely opaque - such a fab effect.
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I love how painterly it looks, and I like it best with topcoat so it looks like a glazed piece. So pretty!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous mani and your nails are perfection! <3
